This fabulous course is a very thorough blended learning course covering 6 modules. This is a blended learning course, consisting of 2 hours of pre course online study and 3 hours practical in person workshop.
This course gives you another way to utilise massage for corporate events, concerts, exhibitions, Onsite seated massage can be carried out at specific events i.e. concerts or sporting events and is a popular way of offering workplace massage.
This type of massage is a great way to introduce treatments to those who would not normally go to a spa/salon and book an ordinary massage.
There are so many Benefits to both the client and the therapist to include:-
Benefit to the clients.
Less intimate if body conscious. The clients head and body fully supported
Better for shoulder tension using an onsite chair. Easier and more accessible to stretch and treat neck muscles. Chronic pain and stiffness can cause tiredness. Use of onsite chair quickly relaxes posture/muscles even before you begin to massage the client.
Benefits to Therapist
Better for own posture, no bending or twisting. Easier to use body weight. Lessens potential for RSI. Easy access to whole of clients back and neck to treat. Can do a thorough 10-minute massage. Don’t need as much space to carry out a massage so ideal to take into the Workplace.
