L3 Award in Assessing in the Workplace

Description

This qualification provides the knowledge and skills required to progress to employment as an assessor of occupational competence in the work environment.

The theory element of this course will be delivered online PRIOR to assessment. Evidence will be uploaded online, and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.

We will need to observe via a LIVE video link (skype/zoom). We cannot accept recordings of assessments in place of observation. 

Please ensure you only enrol if you have access to learners registered on a workbased training programme, or have discussed access to this with one of our team members.

There must be evidence of you carrying out a minimum of two assessments of two learners’ occupational competence (four assessments in total). This occupational competence must not be in assessment itself. In other words, evidence for this unit must not come from assessing another learner assessor who in turn is assessing someone else. A minimum of one assessment must be observed.
