This privacy policy describes how Nabuno collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you nabuno.com (the “Website”) or make a purchase. This policy applies to customers in the countries where we operate: the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, Greece, the United Kingdom, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary.

What personal data do we collect?

When you visit our Website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and cookies placed on your device. We also collect information about the pages and products you view, which websites or search terms led you to our Website, and how you interact with the Website. We call this “Device Information.”

Payments are processed through our payment provider, and we do not store full credit card numbers or payment details. The available payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and iDEAL. We call this “Order Information.”

Payment providers – Your payment is processed by the relevant payment provider (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, IDEAL). We do not store complete payment details.

Shipping partners – Your name, address, and contact details are shared with our shipping partner(s) (including PostNL and DHL) to deliver your order.

SMS marketing

We use Klaviyo as a processor for our SMS marketing service. When you sign up for SMS messages, we use your phone number to send you transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping notifications), abandoned cart reminders, and marketing offers. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP or through your account settings.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of our processors are located outside the EEA, including in the United States (Google, Meta, Microsoft, Klaviyo, TikTok) and Canada (Shopify). These transfers are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses (standard contractual provisions) as approved by the European Commission, and/or an adequacy decision. This ensures an appropriate level of protection for your Personal Data.

Data retention period

When you place an order, we retain your Order Information for our records and legal obligations. We retain this data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including compliance with statutory retention obligations (such as the 7-year tax retention period).
